The Los Angeles Police Department website is the best according to me. The website is http://www.lapdonline.org/ One can easily a tab named Communities under which there is Your Communities. Then there is also a tab named Get Involved where there is significant scope where the community can participate in the process. In the left hand side of the page icons on Facebook, twitter, Instagram and YouTube are present which shows how the department is using the social media presence to its aid. What I found most interesting is the JOIN THE TEAM tab where the department motivated everyone to help the police directly or indirectly.
